Children’s day (Children’s Day 2020) is celebrated to increase the emphasis on the importance of giving love, care, attention and affection towards children. Before the death of India’s honourable First Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, we used to celebrate Children’s Day on 20 November every year. But, after his death, with an intention of giving a tribute to him India started celebrating Children’s Day on 14 November which is his birth anniversary.
Not only India but many other countries also celebrate Children’s day. US celebrate it on the second Sunday of June and Australia celebrates it on 4 August every year.
